Using free article directories for affiliate marketing

Article directories can be a huge booster for your affiliate program if you play your cards right. Writing affiliate articles on your niche has proven to be one of the smartest-highly effective ways to generate sales for your affiliate program.

Free article directories rank relatively good in search engines and can be read by millions looking for a quality piece of information. Choose your topic well! If you are promoting our services, pick an interesting topic to write about, let’s say “What is green hosting?” or “A brief inside into Windows hosting.”, take your time to read whatever you can find on the internet and come up with a comprehensive, easily understandable , detailed and polished information on the subject in the form of an affiliate article. Add your affiliate link in the text, but do not overdo it, your readers are likely to get annoyed if you do it too aggressively. Make sure you are useful and helpful and the conversions will start piling up.

Take advantage of the largest directories – Ezinearticles.com, Articlebase.com, Goarticles.com etc. Those directories bring a huge amount of traffic and rank better in search engines. Make sure you follow the website rules or your article will not be approved.

You do not have to limit yourself to online article directories to write affiliate articles. Once you have your article ready, consider using it as a Blog or website content, as a part of an eBook or an email marketing message. Submit it anywhere you can, chances are people will appreciate and even share it if your content is good.

Choose a catchy title for it that includes words of most common search queries – “Linux VS Windows hosting.”, “Advantages of the Cpanel compared to Plesk.” Include the keywords in the body of the article as well. This will help you rank higher in the search results.

Write as many affiliate articles as you can, but have in mind that it takes time to achieve results even if you write a great informative piece. Don’t quit, be persistent and it will pay off.
