What people are really looking for in a hosting company?

Over 7,000 people voted on Mochahost’s Facebook page, giving an important insight on the hosting industry tendencies, and revealing interesting answers to – “What do you expect the most from your hosting company?”.

The Facebook fans had to put on a scale what they are mostly interested when looking for a hosting plan by picking only one out of five possible answers. The end result reveals that the Price, and Features for most of our FB fans are of a great importance when selecting a host for their online presence. Exactly 67% of the people thought that a hosting plan should be a bargain before anything else. On the other hand, 24% of the remaining voters thought, that features such as online web site builders, control panel features, free shopping carts, and others should be included in the plans by default and are more important than the price.

Only 6% of the fans thought that a great customer support is the most important factor when picking up a company. The “Uptime” and “Fast site load times” evenly shared the remaining 4% of the votes.
